As Fashion Week begins and we watch the beautiful variations of fringe walk down the runway we realize how important styling our bangs are and how this can completely change the entire look. With fringe being a focus, Sam Villa offers a quick and easy way to teach you how to bevel fringe using your Sam Villa Sleekr® Flat Iron and a comb.
“I’ve been using a flat iron and comb to bevel fringes, it’s fast and a simple technique that anyone can do. The trick is to never actually close the iron. When you close the iron you can get a crease, but the heat from the open iron is enough to alter the bonds and allow reformation,” explains Villa.
Beveled Fringe Technique
- Pick up a section of your bangs and place in the teeth of a fine tooth comb
- Horizontally place the Sam Villa Sleekr® Flat Iron around the section at the base and slowly rotate the iron down and under without closing. Since the iron is round, the heated hair takes on the beveled shape.
It’s as simple as that, to see exactly how it’s done, watch this video!
