This client’s journey to a beautiful colormelt actually begins 4 months prior when her hair was terribly damaged and GREEN from a “home job” with the infamous commercial box dyes. If you think this transformation was amazing, on the first one, Shonda brought her client from the brink of hair color death to a deliciously rich mahogany red. Formulas Used:
Formula 1: Pravana Chromasilk 4.0 and 20 Volume
Formula 2: Chromasilk 4.0/4.37 and 10 Volume
Formula 3: Pravana Pure Light Power Lightener with 20 Volume and Brazilian Bond Builder
To achieve this color, Shonda used formula 1 with her Colortrak Feather Bristle Brushes on the client’s new growth, while colormelting formula 2 down to the mids and ends of her chosen sections. The rest of the hair was colormelted using formula number 3.
