The crown braid is the perfect accessory for Fall! Whether you want to keep your hair up and out of your face, you are going to a wedding, or simply want a sweet style for back to school, this is the look! Follow along below to see how Valerie Alessandro completed this look and how you can too!
THE STEPS:
1. Prep the hair using a dry shampoo or texture spray to give the hair some grip. I used Wind Blown 05, by Redken.
2. Section the hair in two, start a Dutch braid from the bottom up on either side. I used Braid Aid 03 by Redken while braiding to keep the braid smooth and free of flyaways.“Pancake” each braid and pull the sections outward to give it a messy look.
3. Place each braid around the front of the head and use bobby pins to hold it in place.
Finish the look by applying a spritz of Triple Take 32 all over to lock the style in place and keep hair from getting frizzy!
