From switching up your shampoo to changing the texture of your hair or even chopping it all off (or growing it out/opting for extensions) here are our favorite ways to embrace a new season of styles.
Chop It Off
If we’ve learned anything from celebrities and fashion week alike, it’s that big changes mark momentous occasions. Whether you’re breaking up with a beau, or possibly starting a new relationship, job or moving to a new city – now is the perfect time to try on a new style and inevitably a new ‘you’. If you’ve been rocking long layers for… ever, mix it up and ask your stylist for a blunt bob. There’s nothing that we love more than a heavy weight line this season.
Add Texture
Whether you’ve got curls for days, waves sometimes or stick straight texture, in this day and age anyone can achieve the texture they desire. Our favorite way to perk up tighter to intermediate texture is to add a Texturizing Spray to your routine. We love spritzing it throughout your style and using fingers to tousle and volumize. Have hopelessly straight strands? Sleep with your hair in braids. Braid made waves are the easiest way to add texture that lasts.
Add Extensions
From tape-in, keratin bonds to clip-ins, extensions are the best way to add drama to your look… and fast! With a range of types and endless color options, adding extensions are an easy way to 1. Change it up with length or 2. Add color if you don’t want to dye your hair. Always dreamed about a pink-tipped ombre? Instead of making a long-term commitment that you’re just not ready for, opt for colored extensions – this way you can decide whether you wear them every day or just on the weekends.
