The Cut
Did you chop your hair short for summer? You’re in luck. “The modern shag is one of the biggest trends for fall,” says Sellers. “A textured, piecey cut with ‘lash-skimming’ bangs is the easiest way to transition a summer bob into an autumn-ready look. Plus, the retro-inspired cut is easy to style on any length. Simply use a curling iron to add a few bedhead waves, making sure to leave about 1 inch of hair straight at the ends. Then, work Keune BLEND Clay through your mid-lengths and ends to add separation and definition.
The Color
According to Sellers, this season’s must-have hues are honey blonde and butterscotch. Perfect for blondes looking to make their golden strands fall-ready, the color appears more natural and lived-in than sunny summer shades. Plus, the color looks better as your roots grow out, so you can go longer in between salon visits.
The Style
Summer may be over, but stylists are still gravitating toward “just-stepped-out-of-the-pool,” soaking-wet styles. To achieve the look, Sellers recommends using Keune BLEND Wax to give strands that wet appearance while still maintaining shape and definition.
