WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Final 3 will be chosen based on various creative elements including but not limited to: texture, geometric or block cutting, innovative use of color.
WHAT YOU CAN WIN:
The opportunity to design your very own collection of 5 wig designs. Be flown to South Africa (Johannesburg, South Africa) for 5 days to transfer the skills of your collection design (airfare and accommodations will be paid for by Goldilox Hair House). This transfer of skills is a part of Goldilox Hair House's active role in youth development and women empowerment in South Africa. In South Africa, you will have the unique opportunity to train some of the women at the production site. Mini day safari included experiencing the beauty of South Africa. Monetary and product prize pack of luxury hair extensions or wigs valued at $5,000.00 USD.

ENTRY DETAILS:
PRE-ENTRY:
- During the Pre-Entry phase, individuals can submit photos and/or video.
- Submitted entries must belong to the artist submitting it.
- Submitted work must involve the use of a wig.
- Open to all artists worldwide.
- Unlimited entries via Instagram.
- Can submit previously created works of art.
- Pre-Entry Submissions: Jan 14 - Jan 28, 2019. Entries close on 1/28/2019 at 11:59PM PST.
FINALISTS:
Final 3 Announced via IG: Feb 20, 2019.
- 3 Finalists will be required to create one new look on a mannequin with BANGS. Final look must include bangs in style.
- Creations must be training skills transferrable (easy to translate for training).
- Finalists will be required to submit video of creation to illustrate how their work was completed.
- Finalist submissions will be emailed to [email protected] .
- Top 3 Finalist Submissions: Feb 20 - March 8, 2019. Submissions must be received via email to [email protected] by 3/8/2019 at 11:59 PST.
WINNER:
Winner will be announced March 20, 2019.
Winner must be able to travel to South Africa and have a valid passport (travel will be 5 days in length). *** Announcement for travel dates will be made March 20, 2019, to Winner.
*** finalist can decline this offer and opt for training via video.
