Not a fan of wearing your hair in an updo? We get it. Not everyone loves the way they look with their hair up. However, sometimes you just need a fresh new twist for your style. If your usual go-to is just plain “down” be sure to follow along below as Hair and Makeup Artist Sherri Jessee gives a fresh perspective to a half up style.
Follow the steps below to get the look!
1. Lightly tease the crown section and pin.
2. Take the section just over the ear on the right and gently twist it. Sweep it toward the back and pin to secure.
3. Take the section just over the ear on the left side and gently twist it. Sweep it toward the back and pin to secure.
4 & 5. Continue with two more sections sweeping back, crossing it over and pinning to secure and create a woven pattern.
