When a photo is taken in black and white, you notice certain elements more than if it was in color. You’re able to have a higher contrast and focus on details that would otherwise be overshadowed. In this collection, by stripping away color, and essentially creating a black-and-white canvas, Louise Vlaar was able to highlight the true angles and depths of her cuts.
