label.m transformed the stage at Paul Costelloe SS19 with an update on a simple style – a pulled back half up pony. They added texture and wave in a way that doesn’t say wavy, curly or straight, but all of them at once.
The Dutchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, started the spotlight on the messy bun trend and the runway is kicking it up a notch with a half-up version of the style, with a slightly more messy, but chic effect.
Achieve youthful appearance with lived-in style.
- Start by applying Volume mousse on dry hair from roots to ends and scrunch with fingers as you apply heat to get natural movement and texture.
- Then curl hair using a medium wand with irregular sections and shape, some looser some tighter for organic texture.
- Use fingers to pull hair back away from the face with a side roll, using bobby pins to secure the style.
- Tease the front sections to give a floating texture. Then add Volume Mousse at the root area followed by Fashion Edition Wax Spray for this lived-in look.
