What You Can Expect at ABS 2024
Spring trends such as mid-length layers, micro bobs, origami ponytails and shaggy layers, as well as techniques such dry haircutting, razor work, deep side parts, and the ever-popular festival hair and social media strategies will be featured at the Sam Villa Booth. In addition to this, new this year is the “All Request Hour,” which is an interactive Q&A session where stylists can interface with the Sam Villa ArTeam who will share personalized insight into the craft of cutting and styling hair.
Artist Supporting Artists
In support of #ArtistsSupportingArtists and #BrandsSupportingBrands, Rachel Hile, Executive Director of The Beyond Project, will share information about their dynamic coalition of beauty and wellness volunteers that apply their skills to charity events to empower and inspire those who need it most. And, Jamie DiGrazia, Sam Villa Ambassador and Founder of Hair Has No Gender, is offering education, tools, and resources that support gender-affirming business practices to help usher in a new era of change. Both will be featured at the Sam Villa Booth.
Uniting the Generations
On Sunday the 2024 Beauty Changes Lives Gala, Uniting the Generations, will honor the many generational family businesses that have made the professional industry so special and successful. In keeping with the theme, two generations of leaders will be celebrated: Icons and Trailblazers - Villa will be the Icon co-host and Elizabeth Faye will be the Trailblazer co-host.
Once-In-A-Lifetime Opportunities
Villa is also a member of the CanvasMe community. Stylists have until March 29th to apply for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to assist Villa backstage at ABS.
