The MTV music awards held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and hosted by Sebastian Maniscalco had as much excitement as it had controversy. From the outfits to the speeches, everyone had something interesting to say. Performances by The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus (singing her “breakup song”) and Taylor Swift who also won Video Of The Year - all took the stage and made a statement. When it came to the fashion it was over the top as ever with a few favorites catching our eye. Keep reading to see the looks we loved the most, straight from the Red Carpet.

Gigi and Bella Hadid both stunned on the carpet, and together they were on fire. Both wearing nude colored outfits - Gigi with a corset and pant ensemble and Bella with a showstopping “two-piece” dress. We love the way these shades showed off both girls’ style - especially Bella’s new caramel hair color. Juxtaposing each other, Gigi wore her hair down with slightly beachy waves and a voluminous side part, while Bella went for the high “cheerleader” pony with a swift sweep of perfectly placed tendrils to frame her face. Want to get the look? Keep reading to see how Danielle Priano for Biologe created each of these!

Halsey
Totally reviving the rainbow hair trend, Halsey has created yet another stand out style. Although she came under much scrutiny for reportedly “ignoring Shawn Mendes’” performance - in reality she was just texting her mom to make sure she was doing ok in the audience - Halsey is turning heads as the real queen that she is. Complimenting her sheer orange gown, the singer wore a strip of literal rainbow hair at her roots. Created by hairstylist @Florido, apparently the look was Halsey's idea (you go girl). She’s proven before how much of a color chameleon she is, but this style is making a statement and trends are about to unfold around it. Next time you head to the salon for a root touch up, why not pull a Halsey?!
