How did you dream up this collection?
This collection was all about playing with the hair. There were no preset notions of what the hair should be. I knew the photography, makeup, and wardrobe styling I wanted but with the hair I wanted a totally clear mind so creativity could flow.
What is your collection conveying?
The beauty of classic hairstyling and how it is the basis for any modern style.
If you could describe your collection in one word, what would it be?
Authentic.
What was your biggest challenge?
There were no real challenges. I had an amazing crew that makes life easy
How did you translate your vision into hair?
I literally let the hair tell me what it wants to do with no judgment. Like when you let a child make his or her own decisions and they become so proud of themselves. I believe the hair did that for itself.
What is your favorite aspect of styling and finishing?
The pure art of it – you can create anything.
How did you select your team?
It was pretty simplem my team is my family. We are together all the time.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Smoking.
Pool, casino, or club?
Always the pool, ALWAYS.
Who’s your celebrity crush and why?
Scarlett Johansson. One word: MAGIC.
