As starlets, and society, get used to the new virtual Red Carpets, they’re taking liberties with the freedom of expression with niche, unique backdrops — like Kerry Washington posing in couture in her pool. We’re given a glimpse inside their worlds and their individual creativity is a much-welcomed change. With moments of laughter and heartfelt tributes, the pre-recorded show was only about an hour in length and highlighted accolades for The Chicago 7, Minari, Chadwick Boseman, and Schitt's Creek among many others.
When it comes to stellar style, we couldn’t help but fall in love with Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom star, Viola Davis — who took home the SAG Award for her role in the film for Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture category. For the occasion, Viola chose a vibrant neon green Louis Vuitton gown with adornments throughout that complemented her chic blunt bob perfectly.
