First came the Danish idea of hygge or “coziness,” and now it’s all about lagom – a Swedish term meaning “just the right amount.” While the comfort of hygge was perfect for winter, summer trends are shaping up to take on “not too much or too little” with lagom. This sentiment translates into beauty by the balance it creates – becoming more about moderation and minimalism than over-the-top opulence. So what does this mean for your beauty routine?

The Met Gala is best know for its outrageous fashion and A-list celebrity guest list. The big event has long been known as “Fashion’s Biggest Night Out,” but, there’s more to this over-the-top celebration, out of this world clothing and red carpet celebrity couples.
