RAW Artist’s Raleigh Hairstylist of the year 2013, Andrayah Poncè has made a name for herself in the beauty industry. Her work has been featured in several publications including, Carolina Style Magazine, Ink Pushers Magazine, Riot Vixen Magazine, and Italian Vogue.
She enjoys working with small businesses creating looks for print and web based ad campaigns, with styling varying from classic beauty to avant garde. She also enjoys the fast paced environment of runway shows and was recently asked to style for Baker Motor Company’s Charleston Fashion Week.
Drawing inspiration from Sassoon’s technical cutting theory to the whimsical styling of fantasy hair, Andrayah enjoys creating geometric shapes as well as unique texture within the hair. She enjoys taking classes and experimenting with new techniques. She is most known for her work in the salon involving clipper cut fades and balyage hair painting. When not working in salon or freelance she loves to peruse fleamarkets and thrift stores for interesting items for DIY repurposing. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and fur babies.
