Revolution Hairdressing boasts Brisbane’s best colourists and stylists, recognised by the industry, the press and by our very own clients. Passionately led by Sandra and Andre Faiva who between them have over 40 years experience within the hairdressing industry, Revolution’s team have been recognised as two-time finalists for Australian Hairdresser of the Year. In addition, Andre has been awarded 2014 Queensland Hairdresser of the Year in the Australian Hair Fashion Awards, and was a finalist in both the QLD Hairdresser of the Year category and Australian Creative Colourist category. The salon was also a finalist in the Australian Best New Salon Business category in the 2015 Australian Hair Industry Awards. Sandra and Andre previously owned and operated Toni & Guy Brisbane CBD and Emporium salons, and after 14 years with the company decided to branch out and create their own boutique hairdressing experience. Although technical skills are important, Revolution realise that the greatest skill for any hairdresser is their ability to communicate, listen and develop relationships with their clients. ANDRE FAIVA has built a reputation based on his passion, ambition and creativity. Having previously spent 13 years at Toni & Guy, Andre progressed within the company to be the National Creative & Education Director for Toni & Guy Australia . In this role Andre was responsible for all Toni & Guy Education nationally, both internally and externally. This included all Toni & Guy Academies, Wella and Label M workshops / seminars. Since leaving Toni & Guy Andre has held National Education roles for NAK, EVO, Cloud Nine and the Ozdare group. Andre is also asked to MC numerous events such as the Main Stage at Hair Expo in Sydney and Brisbane. He is also a frequent judge for numerous hairdressing competitions SANDRA FAIVA’s hairdressing career has taken her from Vidal Sassoon (London) to salon owner & Educator for Toni & Guy and is now currently the Co-owner of Revolution Hairdressing Sandra has long been recognised as one of Australia’s leading long hair educators. Sandra is currently the Style Master with Kevin Murphy. In this role she is responsible for all Kevin Murphy Education in Queensland. Sandra is also a Hair Director for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. Whilst at Toni & Guy Sandra was a Senior Artist Director of the National Toni & Guy Session Team. In this role Sandra was responsible for the long hair, editorial and avant-garde work for all long hair shows, education events, as well as working backstage at Sydney and Melbourne fashion weeks for over 10 years for numerous designers.
