Tired of your average ponytail? Pump up your look with this pompadour pony! It is the perfect accessory to dress up or down for any occasion!
THE STEPS:
1. After cleansing and conditioning with your favorite Mizani System, prep damp hair with Foam Wrap to create a strong shape memory that will make it easier to style.
2. Starting from the middle of each eyebrow, create a horseshoe parting to the center of the crown, and clip this hair away.
3. Pull the remaining hair into a very loose ponytail securing it with an elastic tie.
4. Create a cushion in the previously clipped away hair and smooth hair over it to create the pompadour look. Blend any remaining hair with the rest of the ponytail.
5. After the first elastic tie is placed start to create a 2-inch cushion by backcombing and smoothing the hair on top to create the ‘pom pom’ look.
