As preferred stylist and a sponsor for the MISS VIRGINIA USA organization, I have the honor to work with the title holders. I do their hair and makeup for beauty shoots, consult with them regarding their beauty routines and do hair color and cuts, when needed. In this article, I will share photos of the past 3 year’s blonde beauties that I have had the pleasure of working with.
MISS VIRGINIA USA 2014 ARIELLE ROSMARINO
Look One.
I always like to spray each section of hair with hairspray for shine, heat protection and long lasting curls. Create a center part and curl hair away from the face on a 1 1/4″ ceramic curling iron.
Look two:
Curl hair on a 1 1/4″ ceramic curling iron. Lightly tease the top and brush back. Mist with a firm holding hair spray.
Look Three:
Wrap hair on a double pronged iron to create a unique wave pattern. Break apart with your fingers.

MISS VIRGINIA USA 2013, SHANNON MCANALLY
Look One:
Curl hair on a 1 1/4″ ceramic curling iron. Create a center part and brush the top of the hair smoothly. Loosely separate bottom curls.
Look two:
Spray dry texturizing spray and back brush hair to create tons of volume and texture.
Look three:
Twist side and back of hair up into a French twist and secure with a large u-pin.
MISS VIRGINIA USA 2012, CATHERINE MULDOON
Look One:
Curl hair on a 1 1/2″ceramic curling iron to create loose waves.
Look Two: Faux Bob
Pin up the underneath to create a faux bob.
Look Three:
Create a deep side part and brush hair smoothly with a soft bristle brush.
