Currently based out of Atlanta, I'm the Keune Academy Color Director and International Color Artist for KEUNE HAIRCOSMETICS USA. I have a unique approach to the art of hair color placement, using a variety of customized foil patterns to infuse light and create depth resulting in modern, lux Hair Color that is rich in Dimension. In my classes I share how to create beautiful, dimensional color with easily understood methods designed to increase your earning potential in the salon. My style of facilitating is engaging, informative and enrolls audiences at hair shows and my students in the classroom. I love the beauty industry, being a Hair Colorist, Hair Color Educator, Artist and the ability to create beauty is a dream come true. An award winning colorist, I have been a NAHA Hair Color finalist three times and I've been named one of the top colorists and Hair Color educators in the nation by numerous media outlets. I love large audiences and teaching at our Industries largest shows sharing Keune's Seasonal Hair Color Trends and as much as I do teaching small, intimate Color classes in salons at the Keune academy. Through my years as an educator and Platform Artist I have learned that my audience/students want useable, on-trend, practical techniques that can be utilized in the salon. My style of presenting is information, relaxed and approachable, feeling like an afternoon chat with a friend. I began my career in 1987 working as an assistant, opened my first salon, Sculpt Salon, in Los Angeles in 1989. Sculpt Salon was an instant success and two additional locations were opened. Sculpt salons enjoyed a successful 16 year run winning industry awards, and national recognition, being named one of Americas hottest 200 salons three times by Salon Today. I joined L'anza in 1990 as an International Artist traveling throughout the United States and Canada. In 1992 I joined Redken and began traveling to cities throughout the world as a Global Performing Artist for Redken and facilitating advanced Hair Color education at the prestigious Redken Exchange. During my 12 years with Redken I achieved editorial success having my work published in numerous Redken consumer/trade advertising campaigns & product brochures.
