Inspiration can come from anywhere at any time — it then becomes translated into a look with shapes and colors representing our thoughts and ideas. Taking a look behind the scenes at the Industrial Culture image by Brian Leo McCallum of Roar Hair & Beauty, he notes that he drew inspiration for the industrial culture concept from a mix of sources. The colours of the ancient Mayans married together with an industrial feel of oxidised metal to create an image that shows a soft and strong look simultaneously!  Below McCallum explains more about his look and how he created the image.

To create the collection he states “I started off brainstorming with a mood board to collate ideas of tones and themes. Once I fully understood the concept I was going for, I started to practice on a sally head.
