Escada Channels Their Equestrian Roots for SS19
Channeling some of Escada’s most proud moments as a brand, Global Design Director Niall Sloan revamped their SS19 collection by pulling from the past. From reworking their 1989 block logo and drawing on the iconic Princess Diana power shoulder to pulling from their equestrian roots and even having a Pretty Woman moment. The hair was indicative of 80s relaxed natural texture.

Ralph Lauren Keeps It Classic At His SS19 Show
“I don’t design clothes; I design dreams.” This sentiment has lived on with the designer since his humble beginnings. The Ralph Lauren SS19 show was an extra special occasion as it marked his 50th anniversary as a designer and was a fashion-forward momentous occasion from the runway to the afterparty. Celebrities, industry insiders and Instagram darlings alike came together to see the fashion and celebrate the man behind it all.

Tory Burch SS19 Takes Us On A Wild Ride
Adventure was in the air this year at the Tory Burch SS19 show. Inspired by the sense of wanderlust her parents exuded, she started the show with an invite: a picture of each of her parents in high style somewhere around the globe. It is noted that Burch's parents were quite the travelers - excursions off the coasts of Europe, Greece, and Morocco. This was the inspiration behind Tory's drastic caftans, beautiful prints, and safari-esque jackets. With a classic vibe caught somewhere in between the 60s and 70s, the thirst for a well-dressed vacation was alive and well. The show took place outdoors at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum - a perfect setting for the vibe of the collection.
